In recent weeks, I have been reviewing my collection of work, including new pieces, to display at an upcoming exhibition starting next Wednesday, February 5th, 2025. The exhibition aims to showcase a variety of landscape artworks by six artists who draw inspiration from different elements of the landscape.

I plan to display work as a retrospective, showcasing a variety of work inspired by the landscape over the past decade. I am eager to use this opportunity to present not only some of my recent pieces, from the last few years, but also those developed during residencies in Cyprus (2013) and Spain (2014). This will also include work from my time at Contains Art (East Quay) in 2016 and 2017, as well as pieces from my 'Glimpse' series.

This collection will include printmaking, painting, and drawing, reflecting the diverse multi-disciplinary methods employed to investigate landscape and the nature of landscape in my practice. It offers an opportunity to view the work within a gallery setting, providing a chance to observe a variety of pieces and my practice's evolution over the past decade.

This exhibition initiates a conversation among the works of six artists with diverse styles, all drawing inspiration from the landscape. Each artist explores their perspective and experience being in a landscape, ranging from representational to abstract. This exhibition serves to also spotlight the Woodland Trust, with a portion of the sales commission being donated to the trust.

A private viewing is scheduled for next Wednesday, February 5th, from 18:00 to 21:00. Everyone is invited to attend, enjoy the artwork, engage with the artists, and experience an evening filled with music and conversation. If you're in or near Taunton, please join us and share this invitation with other art enthusiasts.
