The Soundscape Albums

These soundscape albums explore the more surreal and improvised nature of creating music.  Adam explores the formation of these soundscapes by allowing the slowly evolving nature of these improvised tracks to find their own path.  He approaches the formation through an initial idea, usually genre based or through seeking a mood and for fun.

Adam gradually composes each track, allowing various elements to come and go, re-working over many months or even years with the sounds, allowing them to reveal their character and flow to contribute to the overall soundscape.

Due to the nature of these compositions, these would not be to everyone's taste, however, if you are willing to give them a listen, they might grow on you.

Adam has been composing sounds through a variety of instruments, devices and via his DJ era (1987-2007), first learning to play the piano in 1982, giving him a grounding in being able to read music and learn note construction.  These are laid out from the earliest, Between Heaven and Earth (2003), to his latest underconstruction, Entropicism (2024).
